Podcasts rarely fail on ideas — more often on rumble, uneven levels and guests who cannot hear themselves. Prozoneova offers a fixed podcast setup in Amsterdam-West: round table, shared mixer, headphones for everyone and a room that does not sound like office fluorescents.
Podcast recording serves interview shows, news formats, internal comms and narrative series. You book studio plus engineer; we deliver WAV per episode or a lightly edited export. Sort guest agreements beforehand — our guest rights guide outlines a practical workflow.
Process
Brief
Through contact send host count, duration, desired export and whether you want the €440 block with edit. We confirm dates within 3 business days.
Table and soundcheck
Mic placement per voice, headphone mix, noise floor check. Guests get a short talk on distance to the capsule and handling paper rustle.
Record
Engineer rides gain on long answers and mutes side-talk. Breaks are free; on long sessions we shift seating to limit fatigue.
Export and edit
Per-host files and stereo mixdown. The block rate includes basic edit (silence trim, obvious spikes); heavy narrative montage is quoted separately.
Conversation layout
The podcast room is built for two to four speakers at once — more voices mean extra mics or a second session so everyone stays audible. Each seat has a dynamic or broadcast mic on a boom, pop protection and an individual monitor mix.
Hosts hear each other without latency that kills flow. The engineer sits back for gain on long answers and quick mutes on side-talk. Up to 5 people total in the studio including crew fits our comfort and safety limits.

Participants must be 18 or older. Underage guests only with parental consent and an adult present — document releases as in guest rights.
Host preparation
Avoid arriving straight from a loud lunch; whispers are harder to clean than a sensible level at soundcheck. Send ahead:
- Outline or question list (not a full script required)
- Guest names and pronunciation
- Intro/outro copy if you record it in session
- Logo or jingle as WAV only — no YouTube rips
Read releases with guests before someone new sits down. For music beds: you supply cleared files; we do not mix unlicensed sources.
Recording day
The studio is on Transformatorweg in Westerpark. Bus 21 stops at Haarlemmerweg (about a seven-minute walk); from Amsterdam Centraal it is roughly a twelve-minute cycle via Haarlemmerweg. You can park bicycles at the entrance; cars use paid street parking or Q-Park Westerpark on Van Limburg Stirumstraat, about an eight-minute walk. Arrive five minutes early for check-in. Monday to Friday 10:00–21:00, Saturday 11:00–17:00. Closed on Sunday. Sessions by appointment.

Engineer marks timestamps on retakes. Phones on airplane mode; table rumble damped with pads.
Edit and delivery
Hourly €118 delivers synchronized raw tracks and a stereo mixdown — you edit in your DAW or with an editor.
Block €440 adds basic edit: trimming long silences, one pass de-ess/breath where needed, not full sound design or fiction montage. Delivery within five business days after session unless agreed otherwise.

Podcast recording is not a full post house:
- Scoring, fiction sound design or Foley
- Video and multicam
- Hosting, RSS or platform marketing
- Transcription (referrals on request)
- Unlimited edit revisions — extra rounds at €118 per hour
Mastering for music in intros is separate; we normalize speech conservatively for podcast platforms on block edits, not on raw hourly export alone.

Prozoneova B.V. has operated since 2021 from Westerpark with 4 studio rooms. Podcast sessions are run by our recording engineers; names and roles are on about us.
32 input channels are available for expansion with remote guests via clean feed (you arrange codec and internet on location). Remote quality remains your responsibility; we mix what arrives.

FAQ
How many guests fit at the table?
Best with two to four speakers at once. Five people in the studio is the absolute cap (5) including crew; more needs a different layout.
Do you shoot video?
No — audio only. A small silent camera may be OK if agreed via contact and it does not shine into guests’ eyes.
Must every guest sign a release?
We do not supply a mandatory form, but you are responsible for rights. Use guest rights guide and keep documents for publication.
Hour vs block?
Hourly gives raw mix and tracks; block adds light edit within four hours of recording time. Longer montage means extra hours.
Same-day publish?
Only on hourly if you edit yourself. Block edit needs a few business days unless rush is agreed.
